From my old journal, mostly so I can find them from the tag here.
The genius of this story is that it isn't a fixit for the final episode of Sapphire and Steel, it's a continuation. They remain trapped in the cafe.

What I love about this: This is a very short piece which plays around with both the alieness of Sapphire and Steel and, frankly, their massive shipiness to explore what it might mean for Sapphire to have a thing about Steel.

What I love about this: This is an incredible short piece of writing. All I can really say is that the prose here captures the feel of Sapphire and Steel incredibly well. It's about small but important things, that carry emotional weight and about letting go. It's the sort of story I think it is impossible to imagine being told in any other fandom.

What is this?: The short vignette evoking an image, scene or emotion works really well with the premise of Sapphire and Steel where such things have real power. This beautifully written short piece is about fleeting memory, regret and the reactions of the eponymous Sapphire and Steel to the same.
