lonely_candle is known for her extensive cast of OCs, but this story, while ostensibly about one such OC actually throws an unexpected light on one of the main series characters. It is a little bit mysterious, beautifully written, and leaves just the right amount unsaid and unexplained.

A really awesome story with an unusual pairing. stealingpennies manages to make a relationship between Jess and Christine both plausible and lovely.
